Jeff Tarinelli and Jason Leisge joined resources and and decided on a name. Jacob Redmond helped get the shop built, he’s been here since day one. Soon after opening Michael Freeman approached Jason about an apprenticeship and has been with Oddball ever since. Cheyenne Sawyer has been with Oddball since June of 2005 and the latest addition to the crew has been David Syzmanski since fall 2007. Together they have a combined 69 years of experience. In March of 2007 the studio moved to the new location on S.E. 21st just south of Clinton next to the Night Light lounge. “Art is Forever is a project by Jason Sturgill that attempts to foster a more meaningful connection between the art museum and its visitors. Several Portland artists have been selected and given the opportunity to create illustrations inspired by their visits to the Portland Art Museum. These illustrations will be made available as free tattoos on a first come, first served basis throughout the entire day.”

Jeff is planning on traveling for an indefinite period and he will be missed. Come out Saturday the 17th from noon to 8 we will be hanging out, we will have food and beer while it lasts so get there early or bring your own.
We are also celebrating 9 years of being in business! We are welcoming Henry Rodriguez to the Oddball family, he has been a friend of the shop for a while, we are looking forward to having him around. The shop will have a new energy and focus with these changes and we are excited about the future.
So come out and say goodbye, hello, whatever you want to say but stop by. It’s been a great 9 years and we are looking forward to many more great years!
